Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian actor best known for her work as a character in her role in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters as well as the Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda, and Voltea pa' que is enamored. Additionally, she dances and is a model. She is a Montreal native, she grew up in Texas and has been fascinated by performing. She has been training in diverse styles of dance since her early years. At the age of 15, she entered beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia achieved fame after she won a spot on Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. In 2010, she began acting in the role of an office receptionist in an Telemundo episode. She also starred in her debut film, the action drama Tattooed Love. Toubia is nominated twice for Teen Choice Awards as the best TV actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi for her performance in Shadowhunters.
