Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born into a musical family on August 9th, 1963, in Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel superstar Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. and cousin of singer Dionne Warwick. When she was a kid she performed in the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark. At the age of she was 15, Houston had sung professionally with backing vocals alongside her mother in Chaka Khan's 1978 song Im Every Woman. Then she went on to perform backing vocals for Lou Rawls, Jermaine, as well as her mom. Her vocals with the band from New York Material have attracted record companies of all sizes such as Arista. They signed her with Arista in 1983, where she spent the remainder of her career. Whitney Houston, her debut album released in 1985, was the highest-selling album for a debut singer. On the album, she came out with several hits such as Saving All My Love for You How Do You Know You're Good to Love? and The Greater Love of All. This helped her achieve seven US number one hits in a row. It was even better than the Beatles. The album sold US 3,000,000 copies and then reached 25,000,000 copies world-wide. This gave her the first of her 6 Grammy Awards. The Whitney album from 1987, featuring the tracks I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Where Do Broken Hearts Get to and continued to be a huge success. But it came with The Bodyguard of 1992 that turned her into one of the top-selling artists in history. Although the film and the performances in it were not highly reviewed, the soundtrack album as well as her version of Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You was the top of the singles and albums charts for months, and was sold at 44 million copies around the globe. It was also in 1993 when she got married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition artist who gave her only child Bobbi Kristina Brown. In the same year the drug use was documented, and she was able to use it regularly in 1996.

Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she is employed by CNN as a reporter, anchorwoman and political correspondent. She has been the producer of shows on the network, such as Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics'. Bash's awards and recognitions include her inclusion on the "The Women in Washington Power List" by Elle magazine. With her amazing anchoring and reportage capabilities, she's adored by many young journalists in the business. The George Washington University graduate is an adoring mother of one son. She was married twice, and is now a dating. Bash loves her supporters to the core. The American journalist is able to keep her followers informed about her day-to-day activities via social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter.
