Jillian Noel Shennessy born 25th November 1968, in Canada is a Canadian actor and singer who was honored for her outstanding contributions for American television. The actress has made a household name due to her portrayals in the roles of Claire Kincaid in Law & Order as well as Crossing Jordan. Hennessy showcased her talents in independent movies like Chutney Popcorn or The Acting Class. Hennessy started her acting career in 1988along with her sister, as twin call girls in Dead Ringers. In the year 1990, she was as a guest on Broadway in the role of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Then, she moved to sci-fi, and portrayed Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. The big break came later in the year in the form of a role as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. The show's viewers were captivated by her role for three seasons until the end of 1996 when she left. Parker was awarded the Tony Award 2001 for Best Actress in the Broadway production Proof.
