Tara Reid first appeared in commercials on television when she was still a small child. Her breakthrough was when Tara Reid made an appearance on Saved by the Bell: The New Class. While her acting ability has come under fire, it is clear that she's performed her roles with ease. She eventually got a big breakthrough as Bunny in The Big Lebowski. Her career began with this film and she began to receive more offers from movies like Urban Legend or Cruel Intentions. However it was American Pie the cult movie about teenagers and sexual encounters that established Reid as a promising face on the horizon in Hollywood due to her character as the virgin Vicky. The film did not go on to a big, successful Hollywood career. Reid suffered several failures, including unsuccessful movies such as Josie and the Pussycats. Her career waned despite a small role as a character in American Pie 2. Reid is well-known for her work as a fashion designer or party person rather than an actor because of her off-screen goof-ups a disastrous and publicized plastic surgery and numerous flash-and-miss performances.
